Last Saturday night I was chatting with one of my good friends, Alex, who was my former classmate from my 1st postgraduate studies.
We used to have lots of parties when we were studying together.
But now she is working in Germany, so we still try to meet each other once/twice a year.
Since last chat with Alex, it was beginning of this year.
So basically last Saturday we were trying to update each other information.
And I heard something quite interesting, while Alex told me about her former classmates from college whose child is ready to enter elementary school.
Moreover most of her classmates back to high school just got married or having a baby recently.
I was quiet surprised about it, because I thought Western people like to get married quite late, instead, getting married at their 20 something.
Alex and I are at the same age, and both of us are still single without child (OF COURSE).
So I was trying to make a fun for both of us.
But in the end she gave me a pretty good answer.
What she said is that she still doesn’t want to have a kid yet, and a father of a kid is missing anyways.
I found it is quite a hilarious joke.
Honestly I don’t really know how to deal with kids, so I couldn’t even picture myself with kids.
But I think Alex made a pretty good point in here. “The father of a child is missing anyways.” So we don't even have to worry about it at the moment.
Sometimes I do envy some friends who can found their Mr. /Miss Right.
But how do they know he / she is the right one?
How could they be so sure about that?
Or maybe they just have their own instinct to find the right person. Who knows?
